CHENLU SEMI-TRAILER PRODUCTION

Inside the CHENLU Semi-Trailer Workshop

Follow three visible production stages, from steel plate forming and frame welding to platform finishing. These workshop photos show the equipment and hands-on work behind CHENLU semi-trailer manufacturing.

01 / PLATE FORMING

Forming Steel Plate for Trailer Components

Operators use forming equipment to bend steel plate into the required profiles. The formed parts then move to fit-up and welding for the trailer structure.

Semi-Trailer FAQ

What Should You Check Before Ordering a Semi-Trailer?

Here are the details to check when choosing a trailer, comparing quotes or planning a custom build.

Which semi-trailer should I choose for my cargo?
Tell us what you carry and how you load it. Flatbeds suit general cargo, container chassis are for containers, and lowbed or removable gooseneck (RGN) trailers are options for machinery. For loose bulk, liquids or powders, the body or tank must suit the material and unloading method.
Can CHENLU customize the trailer dimensions and equipment?
Yes. Send your cargo measurements or a drawing, plus the loading method and tractor details. We review the deck or body dimensions, axle layout and equipment before confirming what can be built.
What do you need to quote a semi-trailer?
Send the trailer type, or describe your cargo, along with its dimensions and weight, loading method, quantity and destination country or port. Add tractor details, any required standard and your target delivery date.
Will the trailer fit my existing tractor truck?
Share the tractor model, fifth-wheel height, kingpin size, and brake and electrical connection details. These need to be checked against the trailer specification before ordering; the truck model alone is not enough.
Why do semi-trailer prices vary?
A longer deck, a different axle layout or extra equipment changes the specification being priced. Compare dimensions, running gear and included options when reviewing quotes. Ask for freight to be listed separately if you need a delivered price.
What should I confirm before production starts?
Agree the drawing and quotation first. Check dimensions, intended cargo weight, axle layout, tractor connections and the equipment list. For dump or tanker trailers, also confirm the tipping or discharge arrangement.
