20ft Skeleton Semi Trailer Features
A dedicated layout for one 20ft container, with two rear axles and side access to the landing gear and toolbox.
Four Corner Twist Locks
Two locks on the front support beam and two at the rear align with the container's four lower corner castings. The container sits on these supports, above the open frame.
Tandem Axles with Leaf Springs
The two rear axles use mechanical leaf-spring suspension and dual wheels. The springs and brake chambers remain visible beneath the open frame.
Side Access to Landing Gear and Toolbox
The landing legs sit ahead of the axle group, beside a frame-mounted toolbox. The crank handle and toolbox are accessible from the side.

Can this model carry both 20ft and 40ft containers?
No. This model is built for one 20ft container, with four fixed lock positions. For a 40ft container, see our 40ft skeleton semi trailer.
Does 20ft refer to the container or the trailer length?
It refers to the container size. The trailer has its own overall length, which includes the coupling section ahead of the container.
How is the container held in place?
Four twist locks engage the container's lower corner castings. Two are on the front support beam and two are at the rear.
What suspension is fitted to this model?
Mechanical leaf-spring suspension. The spring packs beside the two axles can be seen in the underframe photos and walkaround video.
Can the trailer lift a container onto the ground?
No. It has no onboard container-lifting equipment. A crane, reach stacker or other suitable container handler is needed to move the container on or off the trailer.
What should I send for a quotation?
Send the loaded container's total weight, including the container and cargo, along with the destination country, tractor model and order quantity. Include any required fifth-wheel height or coupling specification.
