BULK MATERIAL TRANSPORT · REAR TIPPING

2 Axle Rear Dump Semi Trailer

The CHENLU 2 axle tipper semi trailer carries sand, gravel, coal and other loose bulk materials for construction projects, aggregate supply and material-yard deliveries. Its high-sided cargo body holds the load during transport and tips to discharge material through the rear gate.

Body volume and payload are selected together to suit the cargo density and transport route.

BODY DESIGN & REAR UNLOADING

What Makes 2 Axle Rear Dump Semi Trailer Suitable for Bulk Hauling?

This CHENLU 2 axle rear dump semi trailer combines a high-sided cargo body with rear-tipping discharge. It carries loose materials such as sand, gravel and coal for construction supply and material-yard deliveries.

01 / CARGO BODY & AXLES

High-Sided Body for Loose Bulk Materials

The rectangular cargo body holds sand, gravel, coal and similar loose materials during transport. Its raised sides provide loading space above the floor, while the tandem axles support the rear of the trailer.

Body volume and payload are matched to the material being carried; a larger cargo box does not automatically mean a higher permitted load.

02 / REAR DISCHARGE

Rear Tipping for Bulk Unloading

The cargo body tips to let loose material flow through the rear gate. This provides a way to unload bulk deliveries at aggregate yards and construction sites without manually removing the load from the cargo box.

The rear gate closes the discharge opening during transport and opens for unloading.

Bulk Material Transport

What Can 2 Axle Dump Semi Trailer Carry?

The CHENLU 2 axle rear dump semi trailer is intended for loose bulk cargo such as sand, gravel and coal. Typical transport tasks include construction-material deliveries, aggregate supply and transfers between storage yards.

Sand Transport

Move loose sand from supply yards to construction sites and concrete plants. The open-top body allows loading from above, with rear tipping used to discharge the load at the delivery point.

Construction supply & concrete production

Gravel & Aggregate

Transport loose gravel and crushed aggregate for roadworks and building projects. Stone size and loading impact help determine the body and floor specification needed for the job.

Aggregate deliveries & road construction

Coal Transport

Carry loose coal between stockyards and receiving sites. The high-sided body provides space for bulk loads, while rear discharge allows delivery into a designated unloading area.

Coal supply & stockyard transfers

How Much Can It Carry?

The actual payload depends on the trailer specifications and the applicable weight limits along the transportation route. The cargo compartment volume refers to the available loading space, rather than the permitted cargo weight. Materials with the same volume, such as sand and coal, may vary significantly in weight due to differences in density.

Based on load tests conducted at the Chenlu factory, the measured payload capacity is approximately 30–40 metric tons. The final payload should be confirmed according to the local operating conditions, road conditions, and relevant regulations of the destination country.

Rear Tipping & Cargo Cover

2 Axle Rear Dump Semi Trailer Demonstration Video and Workflow

The front-mounted hydraulic cylinder raises the cargo body, allowing loose material to move towards the rear discharge opening. This rear-tipping arrangement is used for bulk deliveries of sand, gravel and coal.

The electrically operated tarpaulin covers the cargo during transport and retracts to provide access from above. Together, the tipping body, rear gate and cover support loading, transport and unloading.

Hydraulic Body Lifting

The HYVA cylinder is mounted at the front of the trailer. It lifts the front of the cargo body for rear tipping and lowers the body after unloading.

Rear-Gate Discharge

The rear gate retains the load during transport and opens for discharge. With the body raised, loose cargo flows towards the rear opening under gravity. Material moisture and stickiness affect how readily the load flows out.

Electric Tarpaulin Cover

Electric operation extends and retracts the tarpaulin over the cargo body. The cover helps limit wind exposure of the load during transport and opens to allow loading from above.

This overview explains the equipment’s functions. Follow the supplied operating instructions for the tipping sequence, site requirements and operating limits.

BUYER QUESTIONS

FAQ

Answers to common questions about the 2 axle end dump tipper semi trailer, rear-discharge configuration, cover system, payload review and quotation requirements.

How is this trailer different from a two-axle dump drawbar trailer?

This product is shown as a semi-trailer with landing gear and a front coupling area designed for a tractor fifth wheel. A drawbar full trailer uses a different front connection arrangement, so the coupling checks, vehicle combination and operating configuration should not be treated as interchangeable.

Is this a rear tipper or an end dump semi-trailer?

The photographed product is presented as a rear-tipping or end-dump semi-trailer based on its high-sided body, front-mounted lift cylinder and rear-gate arrangement. Final tipping geometry, gate sequence and operating limits must follow the approved engineering data.

Does the trailer include a cover system?

A folded blue cover component and upper rail arrangement are visible on the displayed unit. The cover material, drive method, support layout, sealing arrangement and standard-versus-optional status must still be confirmed in the quotation.

What payload and body volume are available?

No fixed payload or body-volume figure is approved for this page. Both depend on the final internal dimensions, body material, tare mass, tandem axle group, tractor combination, cargo density and destination-market mass limits.

What materials can be reviewed for this trailer?

CHENLU can review quotation briefs for sand, soil, aggregate, ore, construction material and other bulk cargo after receiving density, particle size, moisture, abrasion and unloading-site information. Suitability is not confirmed by cargo name alone.

Are the displayed tyre size and component labels the final specification?

No. Visible markings can help identify the photographed trailer, but the contractual tyre, axle, landing-gear, brake, hydraulic and other component specifications must come from the approved component schedule and signed quotation.

What does CHENLU need before issuing a quotation?

Provide the cargo name and bulk density, target operational load, loading equipment, tractor information, route conditions, unloading-site details, destination country, required standards, quantity, preferred trade term and target purchase date.
