BULK CEMENT TRANSPORT · PNEUMATIC DISCHARGE

40 m³ 3-Axle Cement Tanker Trailer

This white 40 m³ 3-axle cement tanker trailer carries bulk cement and unloads through a pneumatic discharge system. The front-mounted engine drives the air compressor, with discharge pipes and hose connections arranged along the tank sides.

This build has three rear axles, a side-mounted toolbox and spare-wheel storage beneath the tank. The air and discharge lines are mounted outside the tank for access during inspection.

Why choose the Chenlu3-Axle Cement Tanker Trailer?

The 40 m³ tank uses compressed air to discharge bulk cement through a hose into the receiving silo. A trailer-mounted engine drives the air compressor, so unloading does not rely on the tractor's power take-off.

Front-Mounted Engine and Air Compressor

The engine and air compressor sit together on the front platform, beneath a protective cover. This cement bulker trailer carries its own power source, so unloading does not depend on a tractor PTO.

The controls and compressor are grouped at the front for service access. The compressor specification needs to suit the discharge hose length and the height of the receiving silo inlet.

Side Discharge Pipes and Hand Valves

Air and discharge pipes run along the lower side of the tank. The hose connection and hand-operated valves are positioned for access from ground level.

Compressed air moves the cement through the discharge hose to the receiving silo. The hose connection needs to match the inlet size at the unloading site.

3-Axle Cement Tanker Layout

Three axles sit beneath the rear of the tank, with mudguards over the wheels. The discharge lines run along the tank sides above the axle group.

The rear axle group supports the back of the tank, while the front couples to the tractor. Axle and suspension specifications need to suit the load per trip and the roads at the destination.

TANK FABRICATION AND TRAILER ASSEMBLY

Cement Tanker Trailer Production Process

Typical tank fabrication and trailer assembly stages for a 40 m³ three-axle cement tanker. Tank and chassis work may run in parallel before final assembly.

  1. Drawing and Material Preparation

Set the 40 m³ tank layout, three-axle chassis and front equipment platform. Prepare the tank plates, frame parts and fittings.

  2. Tank Forming and Welding

Form and join the tank shell, end sections and lower discharge area. Add the manhole and discharge openings.

  3. Chassis and Tank Assembly

Assemble the frame members, tank supports and suspension mounts. Position the tank and fit the landing legs.

  4. Surface Preparation and Painting

Clean the exterior surfaces and prepare them for coating. Apply the specified finish; this configuration has a white exterior.

  5. Axles and Pneumatic Equipment

Fit the three-axle running gear, engine and air compressor. Connect the air lines, hand valves and discharge pipes.

  6. Final Assembly and Checks

Fit the toolbox, spare-wheel carrier and lights. Check the installed parts and connections against the build specification.

COMMON QUESTIONS

40 m³ Cement Tanker Trailer FAQs

What is a cement tanker trailer used for?

A cement bulker carries loose, dry cement from a loading plant to a storage silo. This model unloads through a pneumatic discharge pipe and hose.

Can this tanker carry sand?

Pneumatic tankers can haul dry sand when the tank and discharge equipment suit the material. For this model, send the sand's grain size and moisture content before ordering.

How many tonnes can a 40 m³ tank carry?

40 m³ is the tank volume. Tonnage depends on the material's bulk density and the payload rating of the supplied trailer. It is not automatically 40 tonnes.

How is bulk cement unloaded?

The air compressor supplies compressed air to the tank. This air helps move the cement through the discharge pipe and hose into the receiving silo.

Does unloading need a tractor PTO?

No. This build has its own front-mounted engine to drive the air compressor, so pneumatic unloading does not rely on the tractor's power take-off (PTO).

Why does this model have three axles?

Three rear axles share the load carried by the trailer chassis. The tractor supports the front through the coupling. Axle count alone does not determine the payload.

How do I get a quote for this cement tanker trailer?

Send your material, destination, order quantity and tractor model. If available, include the silo inlet size and unloading distance so the discharge connection can be checked.
