Two CHENLU Tri-Axle Flatbed Trailers for Shipment to Ghana

CHENLU is preparing two tri-axle flatbed semi-trailers for shipment to Ghana. Both units have an orange finish and are stacked in the factory workshop, with additional tyres packed between the two decks.

Stacked together for shipment

The upper trailer sits above the lower unit, with its fitted tyres resting on the lower deck. Lashing lines run between the chassis at several points. At the front, additional tyres are laid flat beneath the upper platform, using the space between the two vehicles.

Stacking places both trailers over roughly the same floor area. It also increases the overall packing height. Support positions, clearances and the lashing arrangement therefore need to suit the selected transport method.

Open decks and three-axle running gear

Both units use continuous loading platforms without fixed sidewalls or a roof. The open layout gives forklifts access from the sides and allows cranes to lower cargo onto the deck from above. Cargo can be positioned along the platform to suit its footprint and support points.

Each trailer has three axles grouped beneath the rear section. The rear assemblies include circular lamps, protective grilles and a steel bumper. Reflective strips run along the chassis sides and across the back. Each unit also has a side-mounted toolbox and landing legs for support when uncoupled from a tractor.
